Koh Kitayama Born in Kagawa Prefecture in 1950. Graduated from Yokohama National University with a master's degree in architecture in 1980. Established WORKSHOP (architectural studio) with two others in 1978; established architecture WORKSHOP as principal in 1995. Currently professor at Yokohama National University. Awarded Annual Architectural Design Commendation of AIJ in 1998 for Shiroishi Municipal No. 2 Elementary School (in collaboration) and in 2004 for Katta Public General Hospital (in collaboration) and JIA Award in 2006.
